i got a brand new un..inc in the states at the start of the year im in NZ at the moment.
about aweek ago the base started peeling away from the topsheet and warping the edge. i sent it to burton in NZ with the a receipt and everything they sent it back saying that it was not covered buy warranty.
well thats left me with a busted board and a seasons pass i cant use.
so i forked out $500 for a board that i could use for 4 months.
oh but they did give me a stomp pad. so nice.
hahah had to vent that some where.
if anyone has some advice?
peace

hey, that sucks. usually burton are really good with warranty stuff. I know they warranty the top sheet but im not sure with the base. have u taken it to ur local board store to see what they say? sometimes if you get a store or a rep to get your stuff warrantied u have more luck than by yourself. Good Luck,

Ive found that if you are trying to warranty in a diff country to where you bought the board they dont want to know about it. Have you tried contacting burton directly through the website?

Yeah not that it'll help you here in Oz but what Ive always been told by stores is that if you buy a board in America then the warranty only applies in America, but if you buy it in Australia then the warranty works both in Australia and America (manufacturer location).

Have you tried contacting Burton USA directly? I wonder if maybe they'd be able to sort it out over there, may cost you extra with shipping or something.

Im pretty sure topsheet peeling is covered by the standard warranty and was actually a known problem recognised by Burton about their 08 boards. Hopefully that can give you a bit of leverage
